Polda Metro Jaya Tangkap Komplotan Pelaku Penipuan Melalui Media Elektronik dan Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang

Beritaterakurat.com, Jakarta, – Polda Metro Jaya menangkap para pelaku komplotan penipuan melalui media elektronik dan tindak pidana pencucian uang yang mereka lakukan secara bersama-sama pada tanggal 23 Agustus 2021 di Jakarta Utara.

Dalam konferensi pers yang didampingi oleh KBP Auliansyah Lubis, S.I.K., M.H., jab. Dirreskrimsus dan Kompol Seto Handoko Putra, S.I.Kom, S.I.K., jab. Kanit V Subdit Siber Polda Metro Jaya, Kabidhumas Polda Metro Jaya, KBP E. Zulpan, S.I.K., M.Si mengatakan, pada Agustus 2021 korban V di DM (Direct Message) oleh akun Instagram @jangmigramm dengan Link url https://www.instagram.com/jangmigramm_/ dengan mengajak korban berkenalan dan mengaku sebagai tentara Amerika yang akan ditugaskan ke Afghanistan namun menolak dan berniat mengundurkan diri dari militer dengan bermodal uang cash sejumlah 2 juta dollar yang di sembunyikan di Syiria.

Saat itu, korban di minta untuk berkomunikasi dengan teman jangmigramm yang bernama FRANK. Tak lama kemudian, korban di hubungi oleh nomor 08119592239 dan +447823945210 yang mengaku FRANK sebagai forwarding agent yang bertanggung jawab mengurus logistic dari Syria.

Dalam komunikasi tersebut pelaku meminta kepada korban untuk mengirimkan uang sebagai biaya pengiriman ke Indonesia, diminta untuk mengirimkan sejumlah uang yang mana uang tersebut akan dikembalikan dan diberikan 30 persen dari total uang yang ada dikoper tersebut. Karena percaya, kemudian korban mengikuti permintaan dari seseorang yang mengaku dari forwarding agent. Dan korban mengirimkan uang hingga mencapai jumlah 2,445,873,120 (dua milyar empat ratus empat puluh lima juta delapan ratus tujuh puluh tiga ribu seratus dua puluh rupiah) secara bertahap ke beberapa rekening.

Pelaku memberitahu kepada korban bahwa koper yang berisi uang sudah keluar dari Bea Cukai dan dalam perjalanan akan diantarkan ke rumah korban. Namun di perjalanan, seseorang yang mengaku sebagai agen memberitahu kepada korban bahwa dirinya ditangkap polisi karena melanggar lalu lintas dan polisi tersebut melihat adanya koper berisi uang 2 juta USD tersebut, mengaku ditangkap polisi dan dimintai tebusan sejumlah 300 ribu US dollar. Kemudian korban diminta kembali untuk mengirimkan sejumlah uang, namun korban tersadar bahwa ini adalah skema penipuan.

“Para pelaku berpura-pura mempunya uang sekitar 2 juta USD, para pelaku berkomunikasi dengan korban kemudian pelaku meminta kepada korban untuk mengirimkan uang sebagai biaya pengiriman ke Indonesia, diminta untuk mengirimkan sejumlah uang yang mana uang tersebut akan dikembalikan dan diberikan 30% dari total uang yang ada dikoper tersebut, karena korban percaya kemudian korban mengikuti permintaan dari seseorang yang mengaku dari forwarding agent,” papar E. Zulpan, di Loby Gedung Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Kamis, (15/6/2022).

Para pelaku yang kini berstatus sebagai tersangka memiliki peran dan tugas masing-masing. Pelaku CS berperan sebagai penyedia rekening dan mengaku sebagai pihak Bandara dan Bea Cukai) ini ditangkap tanggal 8 Juni 2022 di Dusun Karang Rata RT. 003/004 Desa: Anjatan Kec: Anjatan, Kab: Indramayu, Jawa Barat. Pelaku UT (Ugwoke Titus) alias Taiwo, Laki-laki, WNA Nigeria berperan sebagai penyedia rekening kepada WNA Nigeria ini ditangkap pada 9 Juni 2022 di Apartemen Grand Palm Residence Unit. 7 D1 Duri Kosambi Cengkareng Jakarta Barat.

Dari para tersangka didapati barang bukti diantaranya adalah; Dari Tersangka CS berupa satu buah Handphone merek Evercross warna putih dengan nomor imei 355086070069620, Tiga buah Handphone merek Nokia 105 (dua buah warna hitam satu warna biru) dengan nomor Imei 355774102105104, 350868840646134, 353123110849612, satu buah Handphone merek Mito 101 warna hitam biru dengan nomor Imei 352090114197218, satu buah Handphone merek Iphone 11 Pro Max warna rose gold dengan nomor Imei 353924100069172, satu buah Handphone merek Samsung Z Fold 2 dengan nomor Imei 357407640832602, dua buah Buku Rekening Bank Rakyat Indonesia atas nama CISTIANI dengan nomor rekening 418501000997504 dan 039501012891509, dua buah Buku Rekening Bank Central Asia atas nama CISTIANI dengan nomor rekening 2060312322, satu buah Buku Rekening Bank Rakyat Indonesia atas nama SUNANTO dengan nomor rekening 418501003916531, satu buah Buku Rekening Bank Central Asia atas nama CHIDIEBERE JOSEPH EDUMANI dengan nomor rekening 5930804527, tiga buah Kartu ATM Bank Rakyat Indonesia dengan nomor kartu 5221843114395457, 5221845037468709 dan 6013010270045322, dua buah Kartu ATM Bank Central Asia dengan nomor kartu 5307952041081531 dan 5307952051796911, serta satu buah Token Bank Central Asia.

Sedangkan dari tersangka UT alias Taiwo barang bukti yang didapat berupa satu unit Handphone Vivo 1808 warna hitam dengan nomor IMEI 1 bernomor 869130034436696 dan IMEI 2 bernomor 86913003443688 serta Satu unit Laptop HP Warna hitam.

Akibat perbuatannya, para tersangka dikenakan Pasal 28 ayat (1) jo Pasal 45A ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2016 tentang perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik dan atau Pasal 3, Pasal 4, dan Pasal 5 Undang Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2010 tentang Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang dan atau Pasal 378 Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana jo Pasal 55 Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana.

Pada pasal 28 ayat (1) jo Pasal 45A ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2016 tentang perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik, dengan pidana penjara paling lama 6 (enam) tahun dan/atau denda paling banyak Rp1.000.000.000,00 (satu miliar rupiah), Pasal 3, Pasal 4, dan Pasal 5 Undang Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2010 tentang Pencegahan dan Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang, dengan pidana penjara paling lama 20 (dua puluh) tahun dan denda paling banyak Rp10.000.000.000,00 (sepuluh miliar rupiah), dan Pasal 378 KUHP, dengan pidana penjara paling lama 4 (empat) tahun.
