Kadiv Humas dan IWO Perkuat Komitmen Wujudkan Pemilu Damai

Beritaterakurat.com, Jakarta – Divisi Humas Polri dan Ikatan Wartawan Online (IWO) menggelar audiensi yang diterima langsung oleh Kadiv Humas Polri Irjen. Pol. Sandi Nugroho. Audiensi ini dihadiri Ketum IWO Yudhistira M.Ikom beserta jajaran, serta para Karo Divisi Humas Polri.

Kadiv Humas mengungkapkan, kolaborasi bersama IWO menjadi sangat penting di tengah tugas Polri menghadapi tahapan Pemilu 2024. Tak dipungkiri, tahun ini adalah pemilu yang spektakuler karena serentak anatar pilpres dengan pileg.

“Terima masih atas kegiatan audiensi serta dukungan IWO kepada Divisi Humas Polri dalam pelaksanaan tugas Divisi Humas Polri secara khusus dan Polri secara umum dalam memberikan informasi yang obyektif kepada masyarakat,” ungkap Kadiv Humas Polri, Selasa (12/12/23).

Menurut Kadiv Humas Polri, kolaborasi harus terus digaungkan agar literasi digital dapat dilakukan secara merata. Bahkan, ruang digital dengan konten-konten yang menyejukkan perlu terus dimasifkan demi menciptakan pemilu yang aman, damai, sejuk serta bermartabat.

Ditambahkan Kadiv Humas Polri, pelajaran pada pemilu 2019 menjadi acuan untuk terus mengevaluasi dan menyusun berbagai upaya-upaya pencegahan kerawanan. Salah satu yang menjadi konsentrasi Polri adalah kekerasan terhadap jurnalis.

“Sebagai upayanya beberapa waktu yang lalu Polri telah mengundang Para Pemred Media,” jelas Kadiv Humas,

Diharapkan Kadiv Humas Polri, dengan kegiatan audiensi ini dapat menguatkan komunikasi, koordinasi, serta kolaborasi dalam memelihara keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat di dunia nyata maupun di dunia maya.

Sementara itu, Ketum IWO mengungkapkan bahwa IWO sejak awal telah berkomitmen untuk turut menjaga kondusifitas negeri, agar tidak terjadi perpecahan. IWO sendiri sudah berdiri selama 12 tahun.

“Jelang Pemilu 2024 sedari awal IWO telah berkomitmen dan berusaha berkolaborasi dengan stakeholder salah satunya seperti Polri umumnya dan Divhumas pada khususnya, untuk turut menjaga kondusifitas negeri, agar tidak terjadi perpecahan,” ujarnya.
