DENPASAR – Ikatan Keluarga Besar (IKB) Sasando NTT- Bali menggelar ulang tahun yang ke-5, bertempat di Hotel Infinity Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai, Nusa Dua, Bali, pada Sabtu, 26 Maret 2022 sore.
Hadir dalam acara itu para pengurus dan ratusan anggota dari berbagai daerah di Provinsi Bali.Ketua Umum IKB Sasando NTT-Bali, Adi Glen menyampaikan terima kasih kepada para anggota yang telah menyempatkan waktunya untuk menghadiri acara ulang tahun sekaligus syukuran, karena selama lima tahun telah dilewati dengan baik.
“Terima kasih puji syukur kepada Tuhan, bahwa IKB Sasando NTT-Bali ini telah berumur lima tahun. Tentunya di umur yang masih belia ini kita harus tetap optimis, kompak dan tetap saling bahu membahu sesama kita,” ujar Glen.
Sebagaimana diketahui, IKB Sasando NTT- Bali adalah perkumpulan orang-orang dari wilayah timur Indonesia tepatnya dari Nusa Tenggara Timur yang merantau di Provinsi Bali.
Sejarah berdirinya IKB Sasando NTT-Bali
Berawal dari adanya orang NTT yang merantau di Bali yang keluarganya mengalami masalah penyakit. Karena mereka tidak ada saudara mereka tidak mempunyai wadah untuk mengadu dan meminta bantuan.
“Waktu itu ada seorang wanita dari pulau Rote tertabrak mobil dan meninggal. Kebetulan ada orang NTT yang mengetahui peristiwa tersebut dan mereka datang ke saya minta bantuan,” ujarnya.
Merasa mereka adalah saudara se kampung, akhirnya Glen datang untuk mengurus semua keperluan administrasi hingga sampai akhirnya Glen bisa mengantarkan mayat tersebut sampai ke kampung halamannya yaitu di Pulau Rote NTT.
Sepulang dari NTT, kata Glen, dirinya telah ditunggu oleh saudara-saudara seperantauan dari NTT. Mereka meminta untuk mendirikan suatu perkumpulan anak perantau dari NTT.
“Maka timbulan nama IKB Sasando NTT-Bali sampai sekarang ini,” imbuhnya.
Menurut Glen, tujuan dirikannya IKB Sasando NTT-Bali adalah sebagai wadah keluh kesah para perantau dan juga untuk membantu jika ada anggotanya yang mengalami masalah atau kesulitan di perantauan ini.
“Setiap hari kita selalu melakukan kegiatan social membantu saudara-saudara kita yang mengalami masalah dan kesulitan,” ujarnya.
Terkait soal anggotanya, Glen mengatakan, siapapun bisa masuk menjadi anggota di perkumpulan ini. Bukan saja dari NTT tapi dari daerah manapun kami akan well come menerimanya.
Glen juga memastikan, apapun agamanya dengan senang hati akan menerima menjadi saudara.
“Bahkan ada orang Bali sendiri yang juga ikut gabung,” ujarnya.
Menurut Glen, IKB Sasando NTT-Bali juga selalu bersinergitas dengan organisasi-organisasi yang lainnya, khususnya organiasi asli lokal Bali.
Glen berharap dengan kedepan, IKB Sasando NTT-Bali bisa lebih baik, kompak dan selalu berbuat baik dengan sesamanya.
Salah satu perantau asal NTT, Cherly Aoetpah mengatakan pernah merasakan kebaikan dari perkumpulan ini.
“Kami juga pernah dibantu ketika sedang mengalami duka,”ujar Cherly.
Menurutnya kehadiran IKN Sasando sangat berarti bagi keluarganya. Ketika itu ia mengalami kesulitan untuk mengurus anaknya yang meninggal dunia.
Dengan adanya perkumpulan ini, semua administrasi kepengurusan hingga penguburan dibantu oleh IKB Sasando.
“Kami berharap semoga IKB Sasando selalu kompak dan terus menebar kebajikan kepada sesame,” pungkasnya.(Red)
