Buya Syafii Maarif Meninggal Dunia, Kapolri: Kita Kehilangan Tokoh dan Bapak Bangsa
Beritaterakurat.com, Yogyakarta – Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo mewakili keluarga besar institusi Polri menyampaikan duka cita dan belasungkawa yang mendalam atas wafatnya mantan Ketua Umum PP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Syafii Maarif atau akrab disapa Buya Syafii.
“Innalillahi wa innailaihi rajiun, tentunya dalam kesempatan ini kita semua mengucapkan turut berduka cita kepada seluruh keluarga,” kata Sigit saat melayat Buya Syafii di Masjid Gede Kauman, Jumat (27/5/2022).
Dalam hal ini, Sigit menyatakan bahwa Buya Syafii, adalah sosok tokoh dan bapak bangsa yang selalu memberikan pesan-pesan positif kebangsaan.
“Kita telah kehilangan tokoh dan bapak bangsa yang selama ini selalu memberikan pesan-pesan kepada kita semua. Tentunya kita semua kehilangan,” ujar Sigit.
Meski telah kehilangan sosok tokoh dan bapak bangsa, Sigit berharap, semua pesan positif ataupun amanah yang selalu disampaikan Buya Syafii harus terus bisa dilanjutkan oleh generasi penerus bangsa saat ini.
“Namun demikian apa yang menjadi pesan, apa yang menjadi amanah beliau tentunya akan terus kita lanjutkan. Sehingga bangsa ini tentunya kita harapkan bisa menjadi lebih baik dan tentunya kita doakan almarhum Husnul Khotimah dan seluruh keluarga yang ditinggalkan diberikan kekuatan,” ucap Sigit.
Lebih dalam, Sigit menekankan, sosok Buya Syafii akan terus menjadi teladan dalam mewujudkan Bangsa Indonesia yang jauh lebih baik lagi kedepannya.
“Dan semuanya bisa berjalan dengan lancar, aman dan semua yang menjadi amanah serta teladan beliau tentunya jadi kewajiban kita semua untuk terus melanjutkan,” tutup Sigit. (Tk/red).
